The Cha-Cha is not just for Latin music anymore, it is danced extensively to songs written for country, modern, and big band genre. Swing, another fun dance will get our feet and bodies moving in April. This dance can be enjoyed at any level with a variety of different types of music. Whether you think you can dance or not, we’ll help you reach your dancing goals and learn to enjoy stepping out onto the dance floor. Proper dance technique, frame, posture, floor crafting, and beat identification will be covered. No dance experience is required. Hard soled shoes are recommended and a partner is suggested, but not required.
Enrolled students are encouraged to video steps
taught in their class for personal use.

It is best if you already have some dance experience as this class is meant to improve your skills, technique, and learn new steps/combinations. The patterns we teach can be used in ballrooms, on small dance floors, and are appropriate for venues’ such as clubs, wedding, blues festivals, big band dances, and 50’s and 60’s performances.
