Dance Classes at SVCC Spring 2024
4 Week Classes Tuesdays
Basic – Intermediate Level
Mar 5 –Mar 26 Rumba 6:30 - 7:30
Apr 2 – Apr 23 Night Club Two 6:30 - 7:30
Whether you think you can dance or not, Dennis and Sandy will help you reach your dancing goals and you’ll have a great time doing it! It’s great physical and mental exercise; while at the same time, spending time with friends or that special someone you care about. Rumba is easy to learn and a great way to start enjoying Latin dances. It will provide lovely, romantic steps to your dance step repertoire. NCII gives you an alternative to the usual slow dancing of just swaying back and forth with some beautiful, soft flowing steps. It’s a great dance, no matter what genre the music comes from country, modern, or 50-60’s. Get comfortable stepping out onto the dance floor and enjoy ballroom dancing for a lifetime. Proper dance technique, frame, posture, floor crafting, and beat identification will be covered. Students are allowed to video steps in class for personal use. No dance experience is required. Hard soled shoes are recommended and a partner is suggested, but not required.
Enrolled students are encouraged to video steps
taught in their class for personal use.
