You Don’t Have to Be a Star to Dance Like One
Whether you’ve admired the fancy footwork on Dancing With the Stars or were stunned by a sibling’s West Coast Swing at your cousin’s wedding, now is the time to get off the couch and onto the dance floor.
Dancing is a great way to spend time with someone you care about as well as meet new people. It’s also a great way for couples to reconnect once the kids have left home. It gives couples a chance to hold each other and rekindle their love of music, dance, and each other.
Many younger couples find the Latin and Swing dances to be an invigorating workout for mind, body, and spirit. From the tantalizing Tango to the Jitterbug, these dances require practice, precision, and passion along with strength, flexibility, and endurance.
Gain the confidence you need to waltz your way through any wedding reception, Cha-Cha through a charity event, Foxtrot through a father-daughter dance, or Rumba through a high school reunion.
Although music identification, posture, frame and technique are taught, classes are held in an informal atmosphere with an emphasis on having fun.
